The history of trials in the world and Latvia

The history of trials is steeped in interesting races. In these, athletes compete not for the fastest time, but for accuracy (while still staying on time). Both cyclotrial and mototrial riders overcome difficult obstacles with their own vehicle (bicycle or motorbike, respectively). These barriers can be natural or man-made. Only the tyres of the vehicle may touch the ground. Touching the ground with another part of the vehicle or any part of the body will result in penalty points. The winner is determined by the penalty points.
